Amphibian Adaptations
•Amphibian skin is highly vascularized and glandular and
must be kept moist. They use
their skin to supplement lung function in exchanging gases.
•Because of these needs most amphibians live in or near
water.
•Some have adapted to living in semi-arid to arid
environments.
